User Reviews about Sony Ericsson W205 Mobile Phone on Vodafone PAYG
I was looking for a cheap phone that worked and i guess it does that. However, i think there are much better phones out there for the same price or a litte bit more. Texting frustrates me so much!! I don't text exceptionally fast, yet the phone is unable to keep up with me and i have to sit and wait for it to scroll through every possible option for each key i press. The slide also does not have a spring to it, and that makes the phone feel a bit cheap and nasty. The call quality is also a bit tinny. These aren't problems that make the phone bad necessarily or unusable, but i don't really enjoy using the phone! -- an inoffensive phone
This phone is brilliant!!!!
if like me you're on a SIM only deal and don't want to be tie in with a lenghty contract.
The only dowside would be the battery life is shorthan than I would expect for a new phone, especially when I don't use the music option , every day.
I've been faithful to Sony Ericsson phone make , because of the MP3 facility really. The built-in camera is basic , and will do simple picture. This phone menu is quite simple , yet effective.
I've forgotten that the Memory extension would have to a SONY make and bought the wrong M2 SD card. My mistake.
Apart from that , this phone is brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -- Great new phone
Im just going to break this down to 'the good' and 'the bad' points!
The Good:
Decent MP3 player
The unit doesn't look too bad!
The Bad:
Buttons on the key pad are placed too close together!
Screen quality is not fantastic
Camera is only 1.3 megapixel
The phone is slow and freezes occasionally
The bluetooth transfers slower than older phones
Only 5mb of internal memory
No M2 card provided (not for me anyway) which will be required if you want to use the MP3 player with more than 1 song!
Slow WAP, takes a while to load up pages which will burn your credit if you use pay as you go.
Its not a bad Phone if you want it for the MP3 player and basic phone uses. I didn't pay for this phone I got it off my Dad from his contract (After my Sony Ericsson Cybershot was stolen and my phone before that had a belt buckle smash through the screen) So I can't complain about these faults I am just simply advising people who are considering buying this phone.
-- 'OKAY' if your looking for a cheep 'Phone'/MP3 player
